This custom built barndominium is one of the most unique hospitality experiences in all of Kentucky, with a prime location less than 2 miles from the newest distillery on the Bourbon Trail - Garrard County Distilling Company.

 

★ The barnhouse is perfect for large group gatherings. In addition to the 6 bedrooms and 12 beds, there's also two additional couches for additional sleeping space. There are 2 king size beds, 4 queen size beds, 2 full size beds. and 4 twin size beds. 3 full bathrooms on the main floor and an additional half bath off the foyer.

 

★ The arcade is located on the 2nd floor of the home and includes a SkeeBall machine, Pop-A-Shot, Foosball, retro arcade machines, and a PlayStation gaming center.

 

★ The home theater, also on the second floor of the home, includes a massive 85" flat screen smart TV with 20 comfy leather recliners for guest use.

 

★ There is also a 'party shed' which is a 1500 sqft large shed structure across from the barnhouse, which includes a golf simulator, hot tub, custom built sports bar with 2 smart TV's, pool table, 30ft custom indoor pergola, lounge area, bourbon barrel high top tables entertainment space, giant life sized connect four, and cornhole. ALSO includes a massive 30ft interactive mural map of the Bourbon Trail!

 

★ The custom hexagon pergola fire pit is located on the right side of the home outside, in addition to a patio, grill, and outdoor dining space.

 

★ There is a dedicated home office space in one of the king suites for the remote workers in your group or the folks who need to pop open their laptops in a quiet office space.

 

★ The barndominium was mindfully crafted with the most unique touches - 3 custom cupolas with dusk to dawn solar lighting, stairway, catwalk and beams repurposed and restored from a bridge from a nearby town, rustic tin ceiling panels throughout, and life sized wallpaper decor with century old family recipes.

Golf simulator didn’t work, was the primary reason for selecting this place for the bachelor party. Host never responded to any messages. Hot tub had some moldy bacteria type substance throughout. Back door was stuck and had to feel like you were breaking it down to open it. Location was beautiful and the pool table and theatre room were hits, but a lot of disappointment

We really enjoyed the house overall. Had plenty of space and everything we needed to have a good time. It did appear previous renters had been quite rough in things - hot tub was disgusting, tv had been hit by a golf ball, simulator was inoperable - but we were able to get the hot tub cleaned. This place has plenty of space and sleeping spots and we ultimately had a good time - just wish everything had been good to go when we arrived.

There was an unfortunate hiccup in our check-in where the cleaning company confused the schedules so we were unable to check in timely. However, the host, Kyle, was immediately responsive and got multiple teams on work to get us in. We were able to use the game barn while watung, but it was a relief to finally get in the cozy and beautiful home to shower and start our vacation. The home is beautiful and the cleaning crew did a great job! The location of the home wasnt suoer close to the things we had planned so Im not sure of local amenities. That being said, we loved the home and the response time and communications were great. Kyle made everything good and we are very appreciative. The barndominium is worth it!!!

Property is spectacular and host is responsive. Property needs maintenance. Nothing major, just a deep cleaning, weeding of the fire pit area, and paint in the game room. For the price paid, would expect everything to be in tip top shape. Also firewood should be available for guests for this price (there were only 3 small pieces in a box).

Had a great guys trip for my bachelor party. Plenty of things to keep us entertained at the property. Hit the distilleries and restaurants during the day, then ended the night at the property playing the golf sim, pool, watching sports, relaxing in the hot tub, etc. Would definitely recommend.

The Bourbon Barn was the perfect home base for our three-generation family and friends reunion/bourbon weekend. The young adults loved the golf simulator, hot tub, and pool table in the "gaming barn", while the main living area and back covered patio were great for hanging out and visiting. It was an easy 45-minute drive to the James E Pepper and RD1 Bourbon Tours (which were also great). The beds were comfortable, the place was very clean, and I really liked the design and theme of the entire place.

This remote location was perfect for hosting a my team retreat and business meeting. While it could sleep and accommodate many more, our 10 guests were all comfortable and the movie room was ideal for our business meetings. It was a perfect location to be picked up for our Bourbon trail tour as well. It was a great way to break up the typical business meetings held in a hotel setting. We truly enjoyed our time at the Bourbon Barndominium!

We had a large group stay at Kyle's Lancaster Barn for a birthday celebration and everyone had an amazing time! The house was large enough for 6 couples and a few singles to sleep; beds and linens were quite comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and unlike other BnB's I've rented, they had lots of pantry staples and spices if you're looking to cook. We had an absolute blast in the "party barn" (as we liked to call it). Golf simulator, pool table, clean hot tub, bar, cornhole and lots of seating...all were taken advantage of! The theater room is phenomenal and was the perfect location for viewing of the Super Bowl. If you're looking to head out to the bourbon trail, this is a great location. The place is private and only about 30-60 minutes from most of the distilleries but I'd still recommend either getting a car/bus service or having designated drivers just to be safe. We would definitely rent again!

Awesome place with plenty to do! Our group of friends stayed for a long weekend with our kids and we had a great time. The open concept is great for a big group and we play lots of games at the large dining room table. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cookware and dinnerware. The “fun barn” we called it, was a blast. The golf simulator was a great time and the pool table and hot tub were also fun. Our only complaint is that there were no hand towels or wash rags. We ended up having to pick some up at a store. Thanks for giving us a great weekend away!

Really cool place for big groups. If you're looking to get away, have some privacy, and spend time with your party, this is a great place! Check in was easy, plenty of driveway space, and love all the activities you can do at the property with the game room, movie theatre, golf simulator, pool table etc. Would definitely bring the group back!

This house was absolutely amazing. We could not have asked for anything better. We chose this place so it was less than 3 hours for all of our family to be able to come and have Christmas together. As soon as you walk in this barndominium, you will instantly rethink your living arrangement and want to put an offer in!!! Everything in the home, from the fridge to the lighting and Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom was modern and trendy. The decor and master suite was a women’s dream and the garage/hot tub area was a man’s CAVE for sure! Views overlooked the beautiful hills of the bluegrass and at night you could hear nothing but the crickets. Very spacious and the vibe checked out! Will definitely be coming back in the summer to parlay and make use of that firepit. 5 STAR 💫

We were thrilled with our stay. This was, by far, the best stocked kitchen of any place we stayed. This was super important for feeding a full family on Thanksgiving. The home was very clean, well laid out, and had so many things to do there. The second barn, or game area, was amazing. We could all hang out in there and each try something different and not be overly crowded. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of places for everyone. It was great to have the entire family in one space over the holidays and still each have our own place with space. It was very homey and everyone felt so relaxed. The 20 person movie theater was a huge hit for games, football, and movies. I highly recommend this for anyone that wants to get away and hang out at the home for a few days. Plenty to do there!

What a beautiful place to spend the weekend! We celebrated my daughters 30th birthday with a party of 14 with plenty of room to move around for all of us. Everything was clean and the beds were super comfy. Enjoyed the back patio for grilling and watching the beautiful sunsets. The party barn was a blast for the birthday celebration and all the activities available. Kyle was quick to respond and address a few small issues. We will definitely stay again !

Kyle's Barndominium was everything the pictures showed it to be. Easy access, very clean, and tons of room for a large group. We had a blast. We had an issue that Kyle addressed immediately. Only Issue that did not get addressed was the golf simulator did not work. Seemed to have an issue connecting to wifi. Over all this was a perfect place for a guys trip.

We used this space for a bachelor party. We are all very laid back and like to be secluded from busy areas so this property was perfect for us. We had many spaces to hang out on this property. The barn was used for friendly competition on the golf simulator, pool table, and corn hole boards. The grill and patio area was great for pre-dinner hangouts, and for morning coffee. All the beds were comfortable and easily made all 12 of our guest happy. Endless TVs and activities. Highly recommended for families or a guys trip.

This place was fantastic. A family vacation, multiple kids that loved the game room, as did the adults. home was very comfortable, with everything you need. furnished kitchen. loved the coffee bar. beds were comfy, plenty of space for our family. Great, quiet location. this was a last minute booking, Kyle was very quick to respond and help coordinate everything so we didn't have to cancel our vacation. would definitely book again!

We really enjoyed our stay this weekend! Kyle was very responsive with all our questions leading up and the property didn’t disappoint! It was very spacious, clean and great for a large group. This home is stunning and spectacular! The view of the sunset off the back patio was breathtaking. Our host was very responsive and helpful when we had technical difficulties and questions. The home is very spacious and beautifully decorated. We had a great time playing all the games and enjoying the hot tub.
