The house was originally built with handicap accessibility in mind. There is a ramp in the garage that leads directly to the main floor. The 1st floor bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom. Additionally, the basement is a walk-in level with no steps.

They raved about the amenities, including the movie theatre, basketball court, rock climbing wall, lake, and outdoor activities. We also loved the two full kitchens, dozens of bedrooms with a variety of sleeping arrangements, and multiple bathrooms. This home is perfect for a company or organization retreat, and I expect we will book it again in the future.”
“Everything was great. Perfect for our group with lots of activities. Property is laid out really well to accommodate large groups. Loved the outdoor areas - fire pit, dock, hammocks, lake! House was exactly as pictures indicated. It did have an extra mattress, which was great since we had a large group. Need to be careful if you are expecting 4 full bathrooms, since one of the bathrooms has a bathtub only and no shower. The lock on the side door of the garage sticks and was difficult to get in/out with the code. Thankful that there were other entry points. The sport arena was awesome! So many activities. The movie room was exceptional too. 20 reclining chairs! Love the place. We will be back if our travel takes us back to the area. Hosts were accommodating and responsive.”
“we had an incredible time. there was so much to do for all ages. we spent most of our time in the basketball court area. we even set up a karaoke machine in there! the kids loved playing pickle ball and basketball and climbing the rock wall. At first, we wished the dock had an umbrella but then a CRAZY wind storm hit completely out of nowhere and we determined an umbrella would never have survived lol. We had a slight issue with the grill and were unable to use it but the host responded immediately when we sent them our concerns. the beds were all very comfortable. there were plenty of towels for everyone and all the soaps were well stocked. one of the shower heads upstairs didnt work but there were plenty of other bathrooms to use. one of the toilet seats is also cracked and pinched a few butts before we learned to use another bathroom lol. the pots for the upstairs stove were easily found. the formal dining room was large enough for all of us to enjoy our passover seder!”
“This stay was beyond what we could have ever imagined! 25 students and leaders is not an easy thing to find space for, but this was perfect for our youth trip. Our students loved the kayaks, the pickleball and basketball court. We played capture the flag, did scavenger hunts, etc. we would book this again in a heartbeat. “Family stayed for a Christmas family reunion. The theater room, pickleball/sports barn, nerf arena were all huge hits that the family and kids loved. They even decorated the house with Christmas decorations and a tree! We had some issues along the way but Kyle and the team were very attentive and helped resolve the issues in a timely matter even though this was during the holidays.”
“We spent Thanksgiving here with our 5 adult children and their kids. Our 12 year old grandson caught “the biggest catfish of his life” on “the best day of his life” in the property’s lake. And we all got in daily walks to the mind blowing park where the road dead ends. We were amazed by the restaurant options in the tiny town of Irvine KY (La Cabana & Steam Engine Pizza). With two kitchens the cooks in the family prepared a classic Thanksgiving feast. While remote, this place is just 10 minutes from a 4 lane, an easy 28 minutes from Red River Gorge and of course just three miles from a Dollar General. The sizes of the TV’s in the house are almost comically BIG, I have pictures of all of us sitting in the living room on game day. We set up by the fire pit just before sundown for family photos with the lake in the background. Admittedly it was a lot of money but I’ve already replaced the memory of the cost with the memories of having our entire family under one roof.”

“Great place, beautiful surroundings. 35 minute drive to Natural Bridge and surrounding hikes. We had 3 families (15 total people), plenty of space. Could easily have had a 4th family. The basketball fieldhouse is great, especially for inclement weather. Note that the basketball fieldhouse is smaller than you would think, hoops are at 7.5-8' feet. Overall, a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend.”

“Lovely home!! Our extended family of 14 had a great time playing at the house and at red river gorge. We should have stayed longer than 4 days! The gist was very responsive… we had difficulty with the door lock and he called back immediately and helped us resolve the problem. The only issues we had were mi or inconveniences… nothing that would stop me from booking again! There was no AC in the pole building (we just played early in the morning or in the evening) and the towels were damp and mildewy (just rewashed them). There was also a sewer smell in one of the basement rooms (just kept door closed).”
