“Excellent place - clean, well maintained, something for every age group”

“We stayed at the Big Sky Barnhouse with a group of4 families, kids ranging from 6-12. There was so much to do! We brought roller blades and dodgeballs to use in the gym and fort supplies to amp up the indoor playground. The adults all left sore from pickleball tournaments and kids vs adults dodgeball. Initially, we were very confused by the lack of a dishwasher, but it was a non-issue and I actually hope they don't add one. There is a beautiful view from the sink! We had a campfire before the rain one night, what a beautiful setup! The layout is a little funky and I was still getting lost at the end of our stay, but great for hide and seek!”

“Book it! We had family reunion with 13 people aged 4-46 and everyone had a great time and can’t wait to go back. We had a pickleball tournament in the sport court, went in a hike at blue mounds state park, and had epic campfires every night. The massive garage door, industrial ice machine, and beverage fridge took the fun of playing cards and swimming to the next level. (Note there were flies in the house bc of the open door but lots of fly swatters and bug traps are available). The host Kyle recommended a local chef (JJ) to cater a dinner and it was delicious brisket, wings, Mac n cheese, etc. The rooms are clean, quiet and a plenty so it doesn’t feel cramped. The sauna and movie room are extras that make you feel like surprises are around every corner.”

“Stayed here with multiple families with children ages 4-14. Plenty of space for everyone. Tons of activities that we all enjoyed. TVs throughout every room (key for watching sports), WiFi worked well, beds were very comfortable. Plenty of linens and towels. Everything was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked (no dishwasher though). Flies were an issue as we had the doors open a lot but that’s expected as you’re on a farm. There were tons of fly traps throughout so it’s clear the owner is trying to combat them. 2 huge pluses were the commercial sized ice maker and beverage fridge in the main room. Made the trip even more enjoyable.”

“We had so much fun. A must do. Kids could play while adults had fun. I had my staff outing there and it was so perfect. Being together with everyone’s family so spectacular bonding time. Definitely recommend having this adventure.”

“Kyle's place was exactly as advertised! I stayed there with my family to celebrate my birthday, and we had a wonderful time. There was plenty for all ages to do, and the place had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun stay. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again!”

“We went to the Barn for a weekend family get together. The place worked perfectly for everyone in our group from 80 to 8 months, with plenty to do for everyone and a great spot for everyone to gather and spend time together. The location worked out perfectly for us and the amenities matched exactly what we needed for the weekend. We will be back with friends.”

“This place was fantastic. We had 11 guys and there was more space than I think we’ve ever had on a group trip. With the basketball/pickleball court, bar room area, sauna, pool, outdoor area and living spaces, we had more than enough to keep us occupied for the weekend without needing to leave or seek outside entertainment. Some of the group trout fished nearby and others went on a hike, so there are still outdoor activities available. With the price, would recommend booking if you’re planning on spending the bulk of your time in the location as you definitely won’t get bored.”

“The barn was a great place to stay with a large group of little kids. We had 6 families with a bunch of little kids, all under 7. They loved the indoor play place and all the room to run around and play in the gym. They loved the pool and the parents really liked that the pool access can be completely closed off, so it is safe for the kids to run around. We had great weather for March and enjoyed having the big doors open and having access to indoor/outdoor space. The kitchen provided some challenges to cook for a large group with the few provided pots and pans and make sure to bring extra towels for pool play.”

“Amazing! This barn has everything you could need (except a dishwasher). We always had something to do while we visited during the dead of winter! The basketball court is amazing, the pool area is warm and there are plenty of laundry options. Overall 5 star stay!”

“Wonderful place to get a large group of family or friends together. There’s plenty for everyone to do. We did have some younger kids that I wish we could have gotten in the pool but it was too cold for them, but it surly won’t stop us from booking this place again!”
